I use SmartF<!-- -->TP to do my F<!-- -->TPing and had entered an incorrect password then left it running in the background to connect, so it tried and fail and kept trying. My webhost is set to block IP addresses that keep hammering with bad passwords.... so I got banned I'll mail you about the port scanner It turns out the problem was a lot simpler than that.
