Another one bites the dust!
I found this BBC BBC Report about the crash of the Genesis sample capsule. The probe was designed to collect particles from the “solar wind” that flows past earth from the sun. The capsule that crashed was returning the collected sample back to earth whent he parachute failed to open on re-entry.
The map at the end of the report shows that the capsule travel from the west coast of america to a utah test range and dropped 135km in little over 80seconds. Man it must have a headache now!
