I’ve been working on this theme for my site for a while now (off and on) and I’m really quite pleased with the way it has turned out. I’ve taken the simple approach with the design and I haven’t gone for loads of background pictures.
Obviously the theme is going to look at its best in Mozilla Firefox. Especially the category menu on the side, that started out as an accident and just grew from there.
If anyone out there would like a copy of the style.css you can download it from http://www.gringod.com/wp-style/gringod2/style.css
Nice work!! I had been working on mine all night and then I clicked on your link and thought… hmm… definately that time of year!!
You might want to try and work on the compatability with IE for a few of the elements till they get their act together!! Only because 90% of the world wont see the cool effects on your menu!!
What you see in IE is how I planned it to be because the stylesheet editor I used (Style Master 3) has a built in IE viewer. It wasn’t until I plugged it into Firefox that I saw the greatness that I had created.
There are one or two little quirks that need to be sorted out for IE but mostly it is done.
I forgot to mention in my post that although my site looks great
it will look even better if you’ve got the Monaco True Type Font installed.
If you haven’t already got it, you can download it from http://www.gringod.com/wp-upload/MONACO.TTF
