This is an old article and the information contained within it may be out of date, not reflect my current views and/or contain broken links. If you feel this article is still valid and requires updating, you can use the contact form to let me know. However, I make no guarantee that it will get updated.
I’m not sure how recent these contact details are so I don’t guarantee getting any results:

Good Work
Director of Dabs.com
Mr. D Atherton
datherton@dabs.com
Warning! Dabs gets annoyed if you mail them a lot – they’ve cancelled my order and banned my email address because they couldn’t ship me one item within two weeks (i paid for 3 day delivery!) when they had 420 in stock when I ordered!
Nice work Dug.
I would like to point out, however, that I don’t condone spamming of any sort, so please don’t go adding Mr Athertons email address to any porn/poker spam listings.
Of course not! That’s just childish. I’m speaking with the Information Commissioner and Data Protection Act as they refuse to delete my details. Thanks for your help & advice Gringod! Good luck to you and all.
That notice about spamming wasn’t aimed at you Dug, but I’m getting a fair few hits on my Anti-Dabs pages so I thought I just point out the obvious.
I owuld have liked to have done more re: the Data Protection Act but I just don’t have the time or the resources… I just hope it doesn’t come back to bite me in the future.
shocking customer service!!!!!
Customer Service Manager Steve Minshall 0870 429 3078
I found a freefone number for Dabs on saynoto0870.com. I don’t know if it works – if going offline to try it:
0800 55 88 66
Please ignore my last post. Don’t bother ringing Dabs on any of the following numbers as you won’t get through to anybody:
01942 853 000
0800 55 88 66
0870 429 3000
0870 429 3220
They all tell you to use the ‘Contact Us’ section of the website. However, when this doesn’t work (like it is at present) you can do **** all.
Life and Dabs sucks.
If all else fails with trying to contact Dabs.com then you may wish to try contacting Bolton Trading Standards.
I would, however, only use this as a last resort and they will be able to help you much easier if you have kept a record of all contact you have made with Dabs.com. And remember that if you have been at all abusive to the Dabs.com staff (via email or telephone) then you may have already lost the battle.

These details work as there is a plonker on the other end of the line!!
Apparently the customer support was atrotious and he swore never to purchase from there again. I thought i’d give them another chance, hopefully they’d had a little rethink with their policies since then.
Dont bother, DABS.COM SUCK and they always will. Their customer service sucks like no other, Im supprised they have not been on watchdog by now. Their telephone support always did suck and now even their live chat sucks as the customer service people dont have a clue how to help you, they just keep saying that your order is with security team….2 weeks now. By the way, I hope everyone does spam dabs.com and I hope they get signed up to as many porn sites as possible, even better if their web site had a DOS attack, that would teach them to mess with customers!!!
Boy I wish I’d read all this before I placed an order with them over Christmas! Unfortunately I was recommended by someone else (obviously not a friend!) so I took as read that they would ‘deliver’. They did: over 3 weeks after I’d ordered, a broken box with a smashed tv arrived. I’ve heard f’all from them since (another 3 weeks on).
Didn’t realise when I posted that you were in Guernsey too. How freaky. I only Googled ‘dabs sucks’ to see if anyone else hated those bastards too.
Hi Abbi, did you try phoning any of the numbers above? There are also more details on this page: http://www.gringod.com/2004/12/09/yet-more-dabscom-details
If you’re still not able to sort things out give me a shout through my contact form and I may be able to help (my new employer has a corporate dabs account ;).
It is indeed a very small world. I just took a quick look at your website and it seems you’re based in the same building as my brother-in-law.
I was just about to send those sleazers a letter and came back to your site for that address you’d published (dooyoo.com have a forum where the world slams ‘em and claim they hang up on complaint calls).
Oh we’re probably related or live two doors apart or our cats share the same therapist or something. Checked yr photos but don’t recognise any of you. I’ll check for yellow beamers next time I get dragged to the Vazon kiosk for a Sunday cuppa.
(cheers for the offer of help)
What a issue! Purchased with google checkout and had no problem with any other sites on the net. Did it with dabs and what a mess, they send you email and pretend there is a problem with you card, when there is not!, you just cant contact them even via email they dont respond and they dont seem to care if you selected and paid for specific delivery dates. I canceled via google, no wonder ebuyer is doing much better.
dabs truly suck! paid with verified paypal address (their bloomin’ website even took me there!!) and then it gets stuck with security! what a load of blox, verified, validated, under £100, paid extra for next day (they invite you to do so!) and then “sorry, it’s with security and next day is from despatch day, not purchase day” that’s a con!
OF COURSE NEXT DAY WILL BE FROM DESPATCH YOU DABS DUMB A$$, BUT DESPATCH IS NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE A WEEK!

I have been doing battle with Dabs for a month or two now. They sold me an LCDTV claiming it was new. They later told me it was 2nd hand when I broke down and I tried to claim warranty. Now they claim I was made aware it was B-Grade when I bought it but after asking 9 times they still can’t produce any evidence to support that. It item is still listed as new on their web site: http://www.dabs.com/products/best-value-32–widescreen-hd-ready-lcd-tv-with-1-year-warranty-4C4W.html Can you see where it says it’s 2nd hand. No, me neither.
By publishing his email in plain text, you will have already got it added to spam lists.
Haven’t had any problems in the past 3 years or so since I started using Dabs.com until the last 2 orders.
2 Seperate orders, one for an ATX casing which had the front panel completely smashed with the clips lying all over the box.
http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/core_sa/IMAG0192.jpg
The second delivery was for 2x Acer Aspire X3200 machines, 1 machine had no screws so the side panel was lying loose in the box. The second machine wasn’t so lucky, it had a bad crack in the front panel with a hole.

Now they claim to have no stock to replace and I have to wait a week before they will collect the damaged item for “inspection”. They say once this is done I can have a refund. Problem is these machines were for a customer, I had to purchase another unit out of my own pocket in the meantime.
15 years supplying IT equipment I have never had an experience like this. 2 sets of damaged deliveries, 1 week before they collect their damaged goods and very slow customer services – disgusted!
Paul Sharrock is the IT Director.
If you start by apologising for using this contact method he can be most helpful. Whether this get you order for-filled is yet to be determined.
Though he does forward your email to ‘Emma Taylor’ etaylor@businessdirect.bt.com, which confirms the BT story.
What good this does is also yet to be determined.
I will update accordingly.
