New Anti-dabs Email Address
Every day I get people visiting my website in the hope of finding out some nuggets of information that might help them contact a really person and the now very un-personal Dabs.com. I have in the past posted telephone numbers for Dabs,.com and [work] email addresses of their employees in the hopes that atleast some visitors to my site will get the answers they deserve.
I am now able to offers visitors to my site an email address to which they can send any pieces of information which you feel could help my website. Whilst I personally am not able to assits in any Dabs.com customer disputes there may be other people out there reading my site that can.
The email address is: dabs.comsucks@gmail.com.
I agree with everything you have said about dabs for anyone to connact dabs is as rare as rocking horse shit. they do not want to know you after they have got your money even if they have sent the wrong goods and goods not ordered.all costomers should get a plan of action expose them to the media.
dabs are drab!
i bought 250 gig maxtor diamond 10 hdrive order 6558658/01 in mid may 05 for £250
it broke with in a month where upon i informed dabs
i then gave it to a data recovery agent
who gave it back 3 months later with a huge bill and only a third of data lost. i contacted dabs again who
claimed that i have never bought from them.
i found the receipt and sent them a copy of the proof.
they acknowledge it though failed to apoligise.
they said i needed an rma number so i went down their site and tried but it said i had no account which i would have if i bought something. so i told them i needed an rma number and they said they send one. they didnt. a week went by while
every day i contacted them to no avail then after nearly 2 weeks they said they send rma that day, guess what, they didnt. so i told them and they didnt reply. so i went down the site and emailed them again and they said they will soon reply, they still havent a week later!!!????!!!!

Yeah Dabs suck arse.
After buying my girlfriend a non-functional Dabs car stereo for Christmas returning it has become a battle of wills. I booked the return via their website and stayed in all day waiting for the promised collection only to be told it wasn’t booked properly and they wouldn’t be coming. The printed documentation and RMA proves that to be false but since then I’ve been batting emails back and fourth.
It took them 3 weeks, 3 missed appointments and many man hours of effort to get them to collect it. Now they say that there is a part missing, a part which I was meticulous in re-packing and they won’t do anything until I return said part. They seem to be doing their best to wear me down so I’ll forget about it and they keep my money. It’s now well past Christmas and all I seem to have bought for my £85 is a war of attrition from Dabs.
Death to Dabs
Hi Steve,
I’m really sorry to hear about your problems. I’m not sure if this person will be able to help you, but other people have been reporting some success after calling Steve Houston on 0870 429 3089.
One day Dabs.com lack of customer service is going to come back and bite them on the arse… I hope its sooner rather than later.
I bought a dabs value flat screen. it looked so cheap it was embarassing to even put it next to my lovely computer. I contacted them and arranged for return. Well they immediately collected their return charge but did not bother to collect their package. Now I am stuck with the ugly cheap screen siiting by my front door, it’s really depressing! I can’t contact them. No email no address!
Can you or someone help?
K
Hi kunakey,
Not only does it suck when you have to pay to make a return, it also sucks when the company takes no further action.
You might want to give Steve Houston a call, he seems to have been quite helpfull with other customers. His details are on on of my other Dabs posts: http://www.gringod.com/2004/09/15/dabscom-delivery-problems/.
Hopefully now that BT has bought Dabs.com they might be able to get a couple of phone lines installed.
Good luck with your returns.
Customer Services at Dabs.com is poor, but even poorer now BT has the reigns! You could try emailing sminshull@dabs.com or kshallicker@dabs.com they’re both useless people, but worth annoying them anyway :–)
Yep. Just waited 15 mins for chat support.
Chap was terse and unhelpful.
Online system is easy to make mistakes on.
Dabs is regularly out of stock, even with
items that say “in stock”.
Customer service is very important to me as
I use the parts for value add resale. I don’t
want dabs’ problems to become my problems.
Looking for a new supplier now. Dabs have had
over £1000 of my revenue in the last month alone.
No more.

Dabs customer service number: 08009170510, and from Ireland: 0044 8009170510. These numbers do work, even though they’re answered as BT.
Customer service email addresses don’t work because they are all tied to an open issue. Example: IS5944_XXXX@is.instantservice.com where the first part is your issue number and changes each time.
Email addresses shown on dabs.ie (corporate@dabs4work.ie) are undeliverable.
